Contemporary red morocco, covers gilt-paneled with tooled cornerpieces, spine gilt in six compartments with black morocco label, plain endpapers, gilt edges; spine darkened and neatly restored, extremities rubbed.

Catalogue Note
Fifth edition; likely the dedication copy. Like all editions since 1650, the present was dedicated to William, Lord Craven, and this copy bears the bookplate of his descendant Fulwar Craven (after 1700–1764). Copies in contemporary morocco are exceptionally scarce.
