Catalogue Note
Second pocket edition, and fifth overall. Marshall's extraordinary engraved title is based on the effigy of Donne erected at St. Paul's Cathedral, November 1632; it is lacking from about half of the approximately ten copies recorded, including Pirie's former copy, which was exhibited at the Grolier Club.
