Marshall, title within border of printer's ornaments, folding woodcut of the funeral procession, full-page woodcut of Essex lying in state, 6 woodcuts in text of flags and banners, one woodcut headpiece and one initial. Nineteenth-century navy morocco by F. Bedford, paneled gilt with fleuron cornerpieces, gilt arms of Christie-Miller on both boards, marbled endpapers; slight marginal discoloration to boards.
