Woodcut of night a watchman with his lantern, bell and dog on title-page and repeated on verso, woodcut headpieces and initials, text in black letter; title-page and terminal leaf soiled, a few repairs along gutter of title-page. Half calf over old marbled boards, red morocco lettering-piece, plain endpapers, edges stained red; endpapers stained, probably from leather dressing.

Woodcut of night watchmen with his lantern, bell, and dog on title-page and repeated on verso, woodcut headpieces and initials, text in black letter; title-page and terminal leaf soiled, a few repairs along gutter of title-page. Half calf over old marbled boards, red morocco lettering piece, plain endpapers, edges stained red; endpapers stained, probably from leather dressing.
