4to (7 1/8 x 5 1/4 in.; 180 x 135 mm). Title within woodcut border (McKerrow & Ferguson 276) with a woodcut printer's device, woodcut initials, initial-frames, and headpieces, text with facing pages of Latin (italic) and English (black letter); T1 with repaired paper flaw in lower margin costing catchword and portions of a few letter of final line on verso, some scattered rust-holes costing a letter here and there. Russet morocco by Bedford, covers with a gilt French fillet frame, spine gilt in six compartments, marbled endpapers, gilt edges; spine faded.
