Contemporary reddish brown morocco paneled gilt, the addorsed cipher ("CC") of Charles II flanked by feathers and surmounted by a crown in each corner and repeated in five of the six spine compartments (the second compartment lettered gilt), board edges gilt with a floriated roll, plain endpapers, edges gilt, presumably by Samuel Mearne.
