Folio (11 1/4 x 7 1/4 in.; 286 x 184 mm). Engraved title-page in 12 compartments by Christoffel Le Blon (see Johnson, Le Blon No. 1), half-title on §1r with explanation of the frontispiece on verso, woodcut initials, head- and tailpieces. Contemporary polished calf paneled gilt, the spine in six compartments (two lettered) with raised bands flanked by double fillets, the compartments at each end tooled in blind with oblique lines, two leaves from Jacobus Magni's Sophologium (Paris: Gering, Crantz & Friburger, 1 June 1475, Goff M41) used as binder's waste; rebacked, upper joint a bit dry, corners and endpapers renewed.
