Woodcut device on title-page, printed presentation on verso of title-page ("Sent to Mris: Katherine Gifford, in testimonie of the affection and service of W[illiam]. H[ayes]."); dampstaining to lower right corner in about a dozen quires, light text browning in quire 2M. Contemporary calf, central gilt lozenge flanked by the initials of the recipient ("K[atherine] G[ifford]), triple-filleted in blind, edges sprinkled red; leather crazed, a few scrapes to boards, rebacked with losses to spine, endpapers renewed.
