Two volumes, large 8vo (11 x 7 in.; 280 x 175 mm). Engraved illustrations on title-page and in text, ten plates including one in two states (colored and uncolored), two additional plates "Eshton Hall, Craven Yorkshire" and "View from the library window. Eshton Hall" (bound following the "Interior of the Drawing room of Eshton Hall"; the 44-page index is missing (as often according to Jackson), offsetting, foxing and spotting, occasional marginal tears. Original publisher's (?) cloth; rubbed and scuffed, joint of vol. 1 fragile, top of the spine damaged.
