Catalogue Note

First edition. William Bedford's copy.

According to Jackson, "all copies are … presentation copies" and "appear to have some errors corrected by Dibdin in pencil." Windle and Pippin describe one of the two John Priddy copies with no Dibdin's autograph corrections. This copy does not have the pencil corrections but is very probably a presentation copy to William, Duke of Bedford.
