4to (13 x 10 in.; 330 x 253 mm; uncut). Two original watercolors by Alix (one on vellum), twenty-three etched plates (six hand-colored), seven lino cuts and two woodcuts, letterpress printed in various colored inks, printed on Richard de Bas handmade paper, special sheets and interleaving printed in Japan. Full dark green morocco by Alix, red and green onlays depicting a poppy plant and blossoms, center square of front cover cut away to reveal an original drawing by Alix, spine with opening "shutters" revealing a poppy, edges gilt. Green buckram folding-case, printed cloth labels.
