Condition
These very decorative stools show signs of wear from use. There are losses to gilding and chips to some carved detail, there are exposed areas of timber and white gesso in these areas. There are separations at the joints and one stretcher rail is loose, despite this these stools are generally solid. The velvet covering is of an aged appearance with some stains and marks most probably from age and use. A stylish pair which would benefit from some workshop attention.
