WILLIAM HAROLD CUBLEY, Lovers by a Lake: Oil on canvas, not lined . The surface is in overall good condition. Minor surface dirt, a stable, fine web of craquelure and minor frame abrasions at the extreme edges. Under UV light, there are dots and dashes of retouching throughout the sky. The darks in the trees have been strengthened as well. Framed and ready to hang. BRITISH SCHOOL, 19TH CENTURY, Peasants Dining Near a River: Oil on canvas with an old lining. The surface is in overall good condition. Surface dirt, a web of stable craquelure. Under UV light, small scattered spots of inpainting to address previously mentioned craquelure, as well as a few small scattered areas around the extreme edges and some minor strengthening to the darks in the trees . Framed and ready to hang.
