comprising: a Derby figure of Dr. Syntax seated with a sketchbook, a Staffordshire pearlware group of 'Birdnesters', an English porcelain figure of a beekeeper, a pair of Continental porcelain figures of vendors, a pair of Bing and Grøndahl figures of snowballers and a pottery figure of a child titled 'The Rebel', the Derby figure with crowned crossed batons and script D mark in puce, the Bing and Grøndahl figures with printed and incised factory marks8 pieces.

Condition

In generally good condition, except: Dr. Syntax: There is a short crack running from the edge of the flower by his right foot down the side of the base and curving to the center of the base. Birdnesters: Edges of the standing boy's right hand have minuscule chips and the object he is holding in his right hand is chipped. The kneeling boy's right hand has small chips to the tips. One of the birds in the nest is chipped away and there is some restoration to the edges of the black nest. Clock vendor: has been broken off from the base and glued back; he is further broken from his left left and glued back. His right leg has been broken at his knee and his ankle and glued back. There are small chips to the edge of the clock on his back, which appears to have been previously restored. Female vendor: Has the cover of the casket in her hand chipped away. The object in her right hand is chipped at its tip. She has been off the base and restored back. The 'Rebel' figure: has been off the base at her ankles and glued back. there are several further chips to the edges of her clothes.
