Description

  • PORCELAIN
  • length of the first 9 in.; height 6 1/4 in.
  • 22.9 cm and 15.9 cm
comprising: a rectangular plaque painted with a still life of fruit and flowers; three plaques, each painted with flowers on a white ground; a green-ground rectangular plaque painted with flowers and a small rectangular plaque painted with a basket of flowers, with giltwood frames. 12 pieces.

Condition

Please note that the plaques have not been examined out of the frames. In generally good condition except: Rectangular plaque with still life: some crazing and some touch-ups to the enamels at places, possibly covering patches of wear. Square white-ground plaque: has a pinhead chip to the upper edge and some wear to gilding. Oval white-ground plaque: Has been broken in half and glued back. Green-ground plaque: Some crazing and minor wear to enamels in places. Small rectangular plaque: there is a small flat chip to the lower left corner and some minor wear to enamels.
