Description

  • 24.8 cm
comprising: three soup plates, probably Pinxton, painted with a central flower arrangement, a Derby scallop-edged yellow-ground plate, and a shell-shaped footed dish with a gold-ground border painted with flowers, the second with crossed batons and D mark in puce. Together with an English porcelain saucer, an Amstel porcelain saucer, and two Continental porcelain plates, painted with birds. 9 pieces.

Condition

All in generally good condition, except: Derby yellow-ground plate: some minor stacking wear to the cavetto area. Shell-shaped footed dish: Some considerable wear to gilding along the rim edges and some further rubbing and scratching to the enamels in the cavetto area. English saucer: has been broken in half with an associated 1-inch rim chip and glued back. Continental plates: Some minor wear to gilding and occasional surface scratches.
