  • 16.5 cm
each modelled holding a jug or a tankard. Together with five Staffordshire toper condiment pots, three with covers, and two small pottery Toby jugs. 13 pieces.

Condition

Some occasional very minor wear to the enamels. Otherwise in good condition, except: The pearlware example with the blue hat and brown jacket: There is restoration to his nose and chin. His head has been off and restored back. His right hand is restored. the right back corner of the base has been broken off and glued back. There are two pinhead chips to the brim of his hat. The one with the turquoise jacket: some very minor abrasions overall to the outer edges. The third: the base is extensively restored; possibly covering chips or enamel flakings. Both hands and the jug are restored. Condiment pots: All covers except one are restored. The one with a dish on his head has several very small chips to the rim of the dish. Pottery jugs: Some minor occasional discolored crazing. One jug has two small chips to the rim edge and a short curving haircrack running from the rim edge. The other has the handle off and glued back and a tiny chip to the edge of the base.
