the teapot cylindrical with bright-cut flowers, crested, the base engraved with initials JJW, by William Davie, Edinburgh, 1764, the stand with hoof feet and beaded border, the base engraved E*M, Dublin, 1761.
Condition
sides of teapot with a few small dings, engravings rubbed, wood finial with some splitting; stand with ding to surface, two feet pushed in, small split where rim meets center and with some solder from previous repair
