- 34.3 cm
modelled standing on a pierced rockwork base. Together with a Chinese export porcelain group of a hen and chicks, 20th century, with impressed four-character maker's markZeng Longsheng zao (Made by Zeng Longsheng). 2 pieces.
Condition
Rooster - comb is an old made up restoration, now cracked and broken. Beak is partly chipped away.

Zeng Longsheng (1901 – 1964), a native of Jiangxi, China, grew up in a family specializing in wood carving and was renowned for making ceramic figures such as birds and Buddhist figures.
