Description

- length of the Derby rhyton 7 in.

one, probably Derby, modelled as a fox's head with a gilt collar inscribed Tallyho, the other Derby example as a rhyton in the form of a hare's head, the rhyton with crowned crossed batons and script D mark in iron-red. Together with a Pratt-type pearlware hare's head rhyton. 3 pieces.
Condition
Stirrup cup: an approximate 2 1/2-in. haircrack running from the rim edge to the right of the inscription, inwards along the inner edge of the ear, curving above the eye and ending in the center of the head; some minor spots of wear to the enamels and gilding.
Derby rhyton: Some very minor occasional wear to the enamels and gilding; otherwise in generally good condition.:
Prattware rhyton: haircrack issuing from a 1/8-in rim chip and running down the length of the neck between the ears; some minor loss to the brown enamel of the rim edge; several minor firing faults resembling scratches or surface chips.
