with a label printed 'From the collection of the 'incurable collector' 36, East 57th Street, New York' to the underside of the associated tilt-top

Condition

The top with old marks, scuffs and scratches as to be expected, The associated base with similar wear and originally with brass castors, brass caps still partially in place. The top has had old splits and is warped, there are evident repairs to the underside, in the form of filler to these splits. Batons to the underside of the top and the oak platform on the base later. Rubbing and wear to carved and moulded details. The base with repaired fracture and securing dowels/pegs to this damage,
