painted with gilt-edged oval bird panels, interlaced L's enclosing date letter S in blue and painter's mark CP for Chappuis. Together with a Sèvres yellow-ground shell-shaped dish (compotièr coquille), later decorated with landscape panels, interlaced L's in blue. 2 pieces.

Condition

Shell-shaped dish: 1/2-in. chip to the footrim and some minor occasional wear to the gilding. Sugar bowl: Good condition apart from some very minor rubbing to the gilt rim.
