Description

  • height of candlesticks 5 1/4 in.
  • 13.3 cm
probably Chamberlain's Worcester, each piece reserved with gilt-edged panels bat-printed en grisaille with various mythological figures, comprising: a pair of candlesticks, a pair of spiral-moulded two-handled chocolate cups, covers and stands and a beaker. 9 pieces.

Condition

There is some occasional minor rubbing to the gilding overall. All in good condition, except: Pair of candlesticks: One with two small chips to the edge of the nozzle. Pair of spiral-moulded two-handled chocolate cups, covers and stands: Covers: One has the knob restored; it is possible that the knob is a replacement. One cup has one handle broken off and restored back. The other has an approximate 1-inch rim chip, issuing an approximate 1-inch haircrack running down the side of the rim. Beaker: Has some minor crazing to the interior and an approximate 2-inch haircrack running down the side of the rim.
