  • PORCELAIN
each painted in the center with a named flower specimen, comprising: a Chamberlain's Worcester shell-shaped dish, three Chamberlain's Worcester plates, an English kidney-shaped dish, a pair of square dishes and six plates en suite, the Chamberlain's Worcester pieces with script Chamberlain's Worcester marks, all with botanical titles in red or blue script. 13 pieces.

Condition

Shell-shaped dish: The rim has an approximate 7-inch long re-gilt area, possibly covering wear to the gilding; the exact nature of the regilding cannot be determined. Three Chamberlain's Worcester plates: One with some rubbing to gilding along the edges; otherwise in good condition. English kidney-shaped dish: Some rubbing to gilding along the edges. There is a 1-inch haircrack running down the rim. Pair of square dishes: there is some wear to the gilding to both and the yellow has a slightly more matte appearance, which is most likely firing related. There are some scratches and minor wear to the enamels on the central paintings. Six plates:with some minor and occasional wear to gilding and some minor scracthes to the enamels consistent with use.
