Description

  • height of tallest 3 3/4 in.
  • 9.5 cm
comprising: three bucket-shaped beakers, each painted with gilt-edged panels of flower arrangements, another with a narrow band of pink roses around the rim and a Chamberlain's Worcester example painted with a flower panel, Chamberlain's Wors mark in red script. Together with a similar beaker-shaped cachepot painted with a band of violets at the rim. 6 pieces.

Condition

The first three beakers: Some wear to the gilding; one with a 3/8-in. rim chip Beaker with pink roses: Some minor wear to the gilding and a scratch to the enamels of the border; the yellow has misfired slightly, giving the ground a somewhat 'speckled' look. Chamberlain's beaker: A restored and re-gilt chip to the rim issuing a 3-in. haircrack; a second 1-in. haircrack to the rim; and some minor wear to the gilding. Flower pot: Some minor wear to the gilding and flaking to the purple enamel.
