A George II ash 'shepherd's crook' armchair circa 1740

This is an attractive lot. The upholstery is stable. There are minor stains, scuffs, old marks and scratches - as to be expected with a piece of this age. There is evidence of worm. There is an very old split to one leg, barely noticeable with two securing metal tacks. There are two disc shaped filled apertures to each arm. There is a small rectangular shaped patch to the top of one rear leg. This is a charming lot, lovely color and finely figured wood.
