  • Marked Rozenburg den Haag on the underside, painted artist's monogram and date mark, numbered 405

by S. Schellink, each piece painted with a large spray of spider chrysanthemum, printed factory mark, painted year cypher, decorator's marks and work order number 405.

Condition

Cups: Some occasional minor staining and discoloration consistent with use. One cup has a 2-in. U-shaped piece broken out of the rim and restored back; another with a restored haircrack running down one side from the rim to the foot, a restored haircrack running from the rim down side on one side of the handle and curving to the foot beneath the handle, and a restored haircrack on the other side of the handle running from the rim to the terminus of the handle. Saucers: generally good condition.
