each painted in the center with a Watteauesque scene and surmounted with two branch candelabra, crossed swords mark in blue, one incised D.10.

Condition

In good condition except: There are some occasional minor chips or losses to the tips of the applied flowers, leaves or to a few of the scroll-molded ends, some of which are restored. The one on the left in the catalogue illustration: The tip of the scroll at the top has been broken off and poorly restored with some further associated minor chips; the restoration is the restoration is old and visible in the catalogue illustration. The drip pan of one candlestick is extensively restored. Both branches have been broken off from their stems and restored back. The other: A section at the tip of the top scroll-molded end is chipped away and restored back, the restoration is old and is also visible in the catalogue illustration. Both candle nozzles are restored and both branches have been broken off and restored back.
