after 18th-century models, painted on the front with a Watteau scene and the reverse with a flower arrangement and applied with figures; all raised on a scroll-moulded base painted with floral sprays, crossed swords marks in blue, the vase with incised numeral 2719 and impressed 97; the stand with incised numerals 2772.
Condition
There are some occasional chips and losses to the edges of the applied flower petals and leaves overall. The cover and stand are in generally good condition. The vase: The putto (affixed to the lower body of the vase) has his left wing chipped away and has some restoration to the end of his red robe. There is some restoration to the other putto's purple robe, possibly covering chip/s. Otherwise in good condition.
