modelled standing with a lyre and a palette at her feet and leaning against a bust on a plinth surmounted with perched doves, crossed swords mark in blue, incised O. 183.

Condition

This figure is impressed E. ANDRESEN in the back. There is a pinhead chip to the edge of her cloak in the back and some restoration to the edge of her cloak behind the bust; the restoration is well done. The edge of the scroll she is holding is restored and possibly reduced.The bird's tail and both wings are well restored. There is also some restoration to the bird's head and beak. There are several small restored areas to the edges of the scrolls where the trophies are laid by the pedestal. Her palette and brushes are restored. There are some minor chips/losses to the edges of the leaves by the harp. There is a long haircrack running across the base, which is not apparent from the exterior.
