Condition
Overall in fair condition with the usual small scratches and nicks to giltwood. Small losses to gilt in places showing gesso and showing wood. Slight warping to the gilding on the back of the settee. Dirt to surface, and some slight accretions. Marble has red fillers from an uneven surface at time of cutting and polishing and small surface scratches consistent with placing objects. The looped stretcher of the table will need to be tightened and glued. Upholstery is worn in places with dirt and spot stains, some chair seats show small rips and freying. The settee cushion has a rip to the back and will need to be repaired.
