comprising a vitrine cabinet, two mirrored consoles dessertes, a long case clock, an extending dining table, and eight armchairs

Condition

Overall in good condition and presentation with the usual minor hairline scratches and minute nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places also consistent with age and atmospheric conditions through the years. The marble with the usual minute chips to edges, light scratches to surface consistent with age and use, due to placing object on top. The wider console desserte with a rectangular mirrored plate and accompanying flower clasp lacking. To the proper left hand side bombee cabinet door a horizontal crack to carcass and veneer. Although some keys are present, they do not function. There is loss of veneer around the keyholes to all cabinets. The clock has a broken knob on the dial cover, which also has two vertical cracks in the carcass and veneer. Please note that the movement has not been checked for functionality and the dial shows extensive areas of scratches. The dining room table has four undecorated wooden leaves which may not be original to the piece. Of the eight armchairs three are wobbly with cracks to the joints of construction and one chair has one marble column detached.
