Condition
Overall good condition. Nicely carved; good proportions; gilding is soft but not too bright. Gilding refreshed and with some wear to gilding and small losses to gesso particularly at edges of legs and feet. Marble tops probably associated. Veneered marble tops with some small surface chips to edges and corners, and a few areas of infill.
One pier table with some age cracks to apron above proper right front leg. Largest chip to gesso is a thin 1" loss to proper right side of egg and dart moulding.
Other pier table with restored break now reinforced from the underside with metal support to proper right corner of top; marble veneer with infill to area. Some small losses to gesso on beaded moulding.
