Overall in good condition and presentation with the usual minor hairline scratches and minute nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Tarnishing and dirt to gilt-bronze in places also consistent with age and atmospheric conditions through the years. The four vases decorating the cornice will need to be reglued as their wooden base-blocks got unglued with time. The blocks are decorated with bronze woven-cast bandings mounts, three are unglued, four are missing and one is a later replacement. Two mahogany angle bandings, to the blocks located above the vertical baluster shaped mounts are detached and two are lacking. Vertical crack to lower door running from top to bottom with minor loses of veneers along the crack. The crack does not show inside the door. Very impressive vitrine cabinet of the upmost standard of Parisian manufacture
