Oil on canvas with an old glue lining. The picture surface is in overall good condition, though the impasto has been somewhat flattened by the lining. Under UV light, there are a few dashes of inpainting in the face of the boy at far left. There are some areas of retouching or potential pentimenti in the area below the chair at left. There are a few additional scattered spots of small inpainting but in overall good condition.
