Condition
Oil on canvas, lined. The canvas is somewhat relaxed on the stretcher. The picture is covered by a stable, barely perceptible web of craquelure. The picture surface is clean and somewhat flattened. There are abrasions from the framing visible along the upper right edge. There is a loss along the right edge opposite the girl's head and a horizontal scratch in her headband and hair. Under UV light, the majority of the work fluoresces green and obscures the picture. There is a small area of repaint visible in her upper bicep and a few lines of retouching visible in her proper left hand.
