Good restored condition; with a slightly glossy finish; however, the color or the wood is very good and the figuring of the veneers is beautiful; the top drawer with an old leather surface which is probably a replacement but has a nice old surface with minor scratches and wear; the handles are most probably replaced; the top drawer originally fitted with compartments; some small repairs and restorations to the cockbeading of the drawers; some small patches around two key holes; small restorations to some of the cross-banded veneers; minor scratches and wear in places especially to the top and edges.
