These chairs were removed from the Salotto Rosso and were formerly part of a set of sixteen, eight of which were in the Galleria dei Mappamondi.

Condition

Two chairs with restored cracks to two legs. Restorations to carving and apron. Regilt; gilding with rubbing and wear; surface scratches; chips to gesso. Old worm damage. Age cracks to construction joins.
