naturalistically modelled as a yellow-petalled flowerhead, its seed-molded center forming the cover with a leaf knop.

Condition

The cover is restored and completely oversprayed, making the exact nature of the original damage impossible to accurately determine, although it probably as been in at least two pieces and possibly reduced; it is also ill-fitting, probably as a result of the restoration - although it is possible that it could have been to the base.. The base has 1 1/2-in. restored break to the edge of the petals, some further minor chips and losses to the tips of the petals, a minor short firing crack to the rim and some minor wear to the enamels.
