after the 18th-century Commedia dell' Arte model by Franz Anton Bustelli, modelled stepping forward on a flat gilt-heightened scroll-molded base with her right hand raised in protest, impressed shield mark, incised 85/I. Together with a pair of Samson Malabar musicians, late 19th century, modelled in 18th-century Meissen style, blue crossed lines marks.

Condition

Leda: generally good condition. Malabar figures: minor chip to the tip of a finger of each; chip to the edge of the urn behind the female figure and chips to two leaves of the plant.
