Description

  • height overall 7 1/2 in.
  • 19 cm
after the 18th-century model by Johann Joachim Kändler, both figures seated on a rocky mound base encrusted with flowers, Harlequin holding a sausage in his left hand and with his right hand resting on a hat on Columbine's knee, she reaching for his mask and holding a slapslick in her right hand, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue and incised numeral 404.

Condition

Please note that the group has not been examined out of the ormolu-mount. The tip of the slapstick Columbine is holding has been broken off and restored back. There is a small flake to the black enamel on Harlequin's jacket. Otherwise the group is in good condition.
