comprising: three figures modelled as old men dressed in ermine-lined cloaks beside a brazier and a similar half-length figure on a high pedestal, the first three with crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue.

Condition

The figure on the far left: The edge of the base has restoration to half of its circumference, possibly covering a chip; the restoration is old and has yellowed and can benefit from some cleaning. There is some minor occasional wear to the enamels on his coat, and several minuscule chips to the curving edges of his coat that resemble glaze flakes.There are a few chips to the edges of the brach on the pedestal. The second left figure: His left hand is restored and there is a small chip to the edge of the tree stump behind him. Otherwise in good condition. The second right figure: His left hand is restored; the restoration extends a little to his coat. The far right edge of his coat has restoration to the tip and the ermine-lining of his coat in the back is restored for approximately 2 inches. The flame-filled footed container to his left and the stump behind it are restored. Far right figure: There are several very minor chips to the tips of his right hand fingers; otherwise in good condition.
