Condition

There are several very minor and occasional abrasions to the edges, some of which are touched up. The cover: There is an approximate 3 inch long restored area at the back rim edge, covering several small chips. The tip of one ear is restored. the other ear has an approximate 1/4-long inch small restored chip to the front end of the ear, where it meets the face. 1-inch long thin section at one side of his nose is restored and there are several very small restored chips along the edge of its nose. The tureen: The pig has been off the base from its feet and restored back, where its feet meet the base; the restoration covers further associated chips and haircracks; the restoration is old and is flaking at areas. The green base is completely oversprayed, making it difficult to determine any possible further damage/s. There is also restoration to all legs at the higher point, where they meet the pig's body; it is possible that this restoration is related to the previously-mentioned damage. There is a 1 1/2-inch by 1/2-inch area on one side at the rim edge, that has been chipped and restored back. There are several short and fine haircracks running along the body, mostly visible from the interior of the tureen., some of which have been touched up. The body of the tureen feels sticky due to the extended overspray.
