Description

each naturalistically modelled on an oval shaped stand decorated with flowers and shell motifs, one with inscribed numeral 3, the other with inscribed 5/r or 5/f inside the tureen and cover.

Condition

The one in the front in the catalogue illustration: The cover: There is a small chip to his beak and old restoration to the edges of its plume, covering chips. The tureen and fixed stand: There is an extended haircrack running horizontally approximately for 3/4 of the circumference along the side. There are some occasional and minor chipping or abrasions along the rim edge, some of which have been restored or touched up. The one in the back in the catalogue illustration: The cover: There are several small chips to the edge of its plume and a minuscule pinhead chip to the edge of its beak. The tureen and fixed stand: Some very minor and very occasional abrasions to the rim edge. Otherwise in good condition.
