Condition

Border glass with losses to silvering and crystallization; small crack to corner of border glass on right side and slightly loose. Central mirror plates with some losses to silvering particularly to the left side. The top of frame now slightly loose and lifting; recommend securing. Gilding with some rubbing and wear to expose red bole; some small chips to gesso. Some age cracks and old restored breaks to carving. Gilt and black painted bands over joins of border glass with age cracks and lifting in areas where mirror plates have been adjusted.
