Condition

Base associated. Painted decoration is later, now with some rubbing and losses. Interior refitted. Velvet is worn so that foundation is visible. Old wood worm damage. One bone panel is lacking; others are lifting. Two bone columns are detached but present; one is lacking. Overall decoration is worn and bone with surface dirt and small losses. Carcasses with age cracks, nicks, dents, abrasions, and stains consistent with use and age. Interior drawers with small chips and losses to edges; occasional scratches, nicks, and abrasions.
