Description

the top swiveling and opening to a circular blue-velvet lined top.

Condition

Good condition; surface is fairly dry. Top with light scratches and usual dents and nicks. Velvet lining replaced. Veneer at edges with some minor patches and restorations, a few small losses around hinges and a 1/4 x 1/4" loss to front edge. Age cracks to base and surface. Regilt and paint to base refreshed; gilding with some rubbing and some scattered small chips to gesso.
