Condition
Old wood worm damage to stand, particularly at feet. Gothic arch to one side of base detached and loose with 6 inches of decoration broken off. Tortoiseshell veneer with age cracks, some small replacements, and very small losses. Mirrors later with some losses to silvering. Age cracks to sides of case. Pin holes to tortoiseshell, possibly now lacking elements. Bone inlay with small losses. Two large age cracks with subsequent losses to both slides at base of cabinet. 12" loss of veneer at front of base. Ebony with usual nicks, dents, and abrasions consistent with use and age.
