The portfolio, comprising 100 wood engravings printed in colors, 1960, number 204, from the German edition of as many as 1,000, the text pages, mat-sleeves and prints on BFK Rives paper with the BFK watermark, the prints tipped to the mat-sleeves (as issued), with text pages accompanying each image, lacking the Certificate of Authenticity and English text pages, published in 1974 by Dr. Jawdat Naffouj, Landstuhl (100 prints)

Condition

The prints are in good condition, the full sheets and fresh colors. Pale time-stain in the bottom deckle of many prints. The periphery of the mat-sleeves are discolored. Time-stain at the extreme sheet edges of most text pages. In each portfolio, an occasional discolored text page, mat-sleeve or print. The cloth-covered slipcases show signs of wear in the corners and edges.
