The portfolio, comprising ten screenprints in colors, 1980, each signed in pencil, numbered 23/200 (total edition includes 30 artist's proofs), also signed and numbered on the justification, on Lenox Museum Board, with the blindstamp of the printer, Rupert Jasen Smith, New York, with the ink stamp of the co-publishers, Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, Inc., New York and Jonathan A Editions, Tel Aviv (verso), lacking the original portfolio box, framed (10 prints)

Condition

The prints are in good condition, the full sheets with fresh colors. Condition notes for the individual prints include: F. & S. II.227: Gertrude Stein: The bottom right corner with an unobtrusive, printing imperfection and slightly softened edges. F. & S. II.229: Albert Einstein: Scattered, inconspicuous rubbing marks in the dark gray area in the left side of Einstein's cheek. An inconspicuous crease/dent in the extreme right sheet edge at bottom. Stray ink in the margin of the bottom left corner. F. & S. II.231: George Gershwin: The print is in good condition, the full sheet with fresh colors. (There are tiny, inconspicuous scuff marks to the right of the pencil signature.) F. & S. II.233: Golda Meir: The print is in good condition, the full sheet with fresh colors. There is a horizontal crease in the bottom left corner with associated cracks in the ink. An occasional inconspicuous scuff mark in the right side of the sheet. The justification page curls from prolonged storage in a tube.
